Akismet has proved to be the wisest and the best anti-spam plugin for Wordpress. But still, I used to get atleast 15 spam comments on an average every day on Technically Personal! Spammers as always do their best to beat the system!

But now, Sergej Muller has come out with a simple plugin which seem to be smarter and wiser and hence better than Akismet. I am not making this statement loosely. I have been using this plugin for the past 10 days and believe me I had just 2 spam comments (made by some stupid human spammers)!! The plugin is called Antispam Bee and the way it works is simple, yet effective! It just replaces the comment field, probably by changing the name/ID parameters ( I am not sure yet on how it works).

The installation is straight-forward - download, unpack the zip, upload and activate. That’s it!!
